Christian Biography of Scott L. Colgrove

Scott Lyle Colgrove, the son of Donald and Bonnie (Striggow) Colgrove, was born on January 14, 1957 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on February 2, 2017 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 60 years, and 19 days.

Scott was a Superior High School graduate, and a member of the Baptist Church in Superior. He loved motorcycles, fishing, watching movies, collecting old items, watches, knives, and growing his dieffenbachia.

Throughout his lifetime, Scott lived in Superior, Salina and Minneapolis, Kansas. He worked as an automotive detailer. He returned to Superior and entered the Good Samaritan in January of 2017.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Don.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie of Superior, Nebraska; his children, Joshua of Superior, Nebraska and Jeremy of Kearney, Nebraska, Jessica and Jacob Colgrove of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Amius Dennis, Benjamin Colgrove and Matthew Colgrove; other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska with Missie Wilt officiating.
