Christian Biography of Shelia Thomas

Shelia West Thomas, the daughter of John West and Lottie Valentine, was born on June 26, 1947 in Jonesville, Louisiana. She passed away on January 18, 2019 at the Bryan LGH Medical Center East at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 6 months, 23 days.

Shelia was a graduate of Everman High School in Arlington, Texas. She married Wayne Thomas on May 19, 1991 at Englewood, Colorado.

She was employed at Ideal Market and Superior Insurance both of Superior. She loved visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them. She was a great wife and mother. She enjoyed shopping and playing video poker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Wayne; daughters Cindy Peterson of Seattle, Washington; and Sheri Burkholder and husband Jim of Superior; 2 grandchildren Travis Amani and wife Kassy and Taylor Miller and husband Jason and 2 great grandchildren Destiny and Zoey Amani; other relatives and a host of friends.

Services for Shelia will be held at a later date.
