In Loving Memory of Sylvia I. Imhoff

Sylvia I. Imhoff was born on April 23, 1939, in Bostwick, Nebraska, to William and Agnes (Dixon) Imhoff. She peacefully passed away at her home in Superior, Nebraska, on October 1, 2026, at the age of 87 years, 5 months, and 8 days.

Sylvia graduated from Elk City High School in Elk City, Kansas. In 1957, she became a member of the First United Methodist Church, where her faith became an important part of her life. She was also a faithful member of the United Methodist Women. Throughout the years, Sylvia's Christian faith provided her with strength, comfort, and a foundation through the many seasons of her life.

Sylvia lived in several states during her lifetime, including Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Wherever life took her, she carried with her a quiet spirit, a willingness to work, and a heart for the people around her. She was employed as a bookkeeper, a position that reflected her careful, dependable, and responsible nature.

Sylvia will be remembered by her family and friends for her enduring faith, her caring spirit, and the simple ways in which she touched the lives of those around her. Her life was a testimony to the importance of faith, family, friendship, and perseverance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes Imhoff; her brothers, Virgil Dale Imhoff and William Allen Imhoff; and her sisters, Bonnie Grace Imhoff and Hazel Joan Karg.

Those left to cherish Sylvia's memory include her sister, Alpha Marie Jones of Twin Falls, Idaho; brother-in-law Albert Karg; sister-in-law Debbie Imhoff; nieces Cheryl Fisher, Patti Kraus, Cindy Lind, and Tina Burchett; nephews Jerry Imhoff, Kirk Jones, Greg Jones, and Chris Imhoff; along with other relatives and a host of friends.

Sylvia's earthly journey has come to an end, but the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. After a lifetime of faith and service, she now rests in the presence of her Lord.
