Christian Biography of Tamie S. Smith

Tamie Sue Smith, the daughter of Gary and Harriet (Sandage) Doyen, was born on June 27, 1962 in Hastings, Nebraska. She passed away on February 7, 2018 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 55 years, 7 months, 11 days.

Tamie graduated high school in Torrance, California. She was a member of the Assembly of God church in Hastings, Nebraska being baptized in 2001. She married Jaman Kirkland Smith and they had three children. They later divorced.

Tamie worked as a dental assistant and was a clerk at Gas-n-Shop and the Country Store. She always had a smile on her face and knew how to make someone smile. She entered the Good Samaritan Society in Superior in December of 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her children Alesha Hanson and husband Tony and Breanna Shelton and husband Nick all of Lexington, South Carolina; and Kenise Smith of Carson City, Nevada; 6 grandchildren and 2 nephews; brothers LeRoy Doyen and wife Maria of Mesa, Arizona and Gregg Freeman of California and her sister Lisa Doyen of Superior, Nebraska; other relatives and a host of friends.
