Christian Biography of Tammie Overton

Tammie Overton, the daughter of Fred and Karen (Moorehead) Sheldon, was born on December 24, 1968 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She passed away on May 3, 2019 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 50 years, 4 months, 9 days.

Tammie was a Lincoln High graduate. She was united in marriage to John Overton on December 11, 1993 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was employed for 20 years at Mid Nebraska Individual Services. She was very caring to the clients and truly enjoyed helping them. She loved to go fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John on June 15, 2017; and her brother James Outcult.

She will be dearly missed by her siblings Tina Young, Walter Sheldon, Sindy Snyder, Tray Upton, Evonne Sheldon, Jody Sheldon, Timothy Sheldon, and nephew Freddie Michael Sheldon whom they raised; other relatives and a host of friends.

Family services will be held at a later date.
