Christian Biography of Tom Buresh

Thomas Lee Buresh, the son of James and Mildred (Holmquist) Buresh, was born on April 15, 1951 in Davenport, Nebraska. He passed away on April 26, 2022 at the Bryan LGH Medical Center West at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, and 11 days.

Tom was engaged in farming and also an electrician living in the Oak and Davenport communities all his life. He was a member of the Goldwing Riders Association, and a board member of the Hebron Municipal Airport.

He was an avid motorcyclist and loved his cars. He enjoyed going to air shows and looking at the airplanes. One of his hobbies was collecting coins and making sure all his grandchildren had all the new quarters. He loved his family and grandchildren, and loved spending time with them.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Joyce Joann in 1953.

He is survived by his children Chad (Larae) Buresh of Wallace, Nebraska; Jaime (TJ) Swendener of Beatrice, Nebraska; and Austin (Miranda) Buresh of Hastings, Nebraska; six grandchildren: McKenna Buresh, Cooper Swendener, Carver Buresh, Camden Swendener, Tynleigh Buresh and Liam Swendener; brothers Paul (Marcia) Buresh of Nelson, Nebraska; Michael (Ellen) Buresh of Davenport, Nebraska; and sister Roxanne (Roger) Casebolt of North Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
