Val F. Zitek, 86, of Lincoln, went to his heavenly home on June 23, 2017. Mr. Zitek was born November 22, 1930 in Seward, NE.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joe (Rose) Zitek; son, Larry Zitek; infant grandchildren, Tommy & Mark Loudon; brother, Joe; sister, Marcie.

Survived by his wife of 65 years, Patty; daughters, Diane (John) Loudon, Julie (Doug) Wismer; sons, Rick Zitek, Fr. Brad Zitek; daughter-in-law, Brenda Zitek; brother, Ken (Mary) Zitek; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Dr, Lincoln, NE 68506

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00P-7:00P on Tuesday at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln 68510.

A rosary will be said at 6:00 PM.
