Christian Biography of Velene Sporhase

Velene Sporhase, the daughter of Dale and Minnie (Root) Stall, was born on May 6, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She passed away on February 3, 2024 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 76 years, 8 months, 28 days.

Velene grew up in Eagle. She was a high school graduate and attended college.  Family was her life, she truly loved spending time with them and also finding that favorite fishing hole. For a time, she lived in Eagle, Nebraska. She entered the Superior Good Samaritan Society in 2022 where she lived until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Shorty Stall.

Survivors include her children Jerry Sporhase, Jr., of Superior; Marsha Sporhase of Palmyra and Marcy Sporhase; seven grandchildren Josh Sporhase, Zack Olsen, Tyler Olsen, Katie Davidson, Anthony Davidson, Raven Large and Xander Teubert; other relatives and a host of friends.

Private family services will be held.
