Christian Biography of Victor A. Kranau

Victor A Kranau, the son of Vernon and Gayle (Fossberg) Kranau, was born on October 20, 1956 in Grand Island, Nebraska. He passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Brodstone Memorial Healthcare in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 10 months, 29 days.

Victor was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended school in Hastings and was a Hastings High School graduate, and was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior. On August 5, 1978 he was united in marriage to Diana R. Dixon in Superior and to this union 2 daughters were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Gayle and son-in-law Travis Foreman.

Survivors include his wife Diana and daughters Amanda (friend, Shawn) Foreman of Lincoln and Valerie (Allen) Weinert of Superior; four grandchildren; James Foreman, Jeremy Foreman, Hayden Weinert and Emily Weinert; sister Julie Kranau and Carolyn (Chris) Loghry; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Per Victor’s wishes he was cremated with no services conducted.

Interment will be in the Bostwick Cemetery, Bostwick, Nebraska.
