Christian Biography of Virginia "Sue" Sporing

Virginia "Sue" Arlene Sporing, the daughter of James and Ruth (Wingo) Copper, was born on November 22, 1947 in Colby, Kansas. She passed away on November 21, 2025 at the Webster County Community Hospital at Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 11 months, 30 days.

Sue attended school in Bird City, Kansas. On November 22, 1964, she was united in marriage to Lloyd "Bill" Sporing at Goodland, Kansas and to this union were born three boys, Bill, Todd and Chad. They moved to Superior to be closer to family. While raising their boys, Sue was employed at the Elks Club which included cooking, cleaning and helping in the kitchen. She also took on housekeeping jobs around Superior and her and Lloyd was the janitors for the then John Deere.

She was active in following the boy's school and sports activities. Sue was a member of the Elks Club in Superior, and she enjoyed crafts projects. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lloyd, brother Jim Copper and sister Mary Jo Hanna.

Survivors include her sons Billy Joe of Salina, Todd Eugene and Chad Duane both of Superior; four grandsons Justin Sporing, Levi Sporing, Jessy Sporing and Gavin Sporing, and great granddaughters Feya Sporing; sisters Carol Larson of St. Francis, Kansas, Ruth (Earl) Studer of Superior, Frances (Jim) Herren of Goodland, Kansas and Janice King of Burlington, Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home, Superior, Nebraska
