Christian Biography of Wilma Owen

Wilma Faye Owen, the daughter of David and Mary (Webb) Powell, was born on July 19, 1918 in Hardy, Nebraska. She passed away on July 17, 2017 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 98 years, 11 months, 29 days.

Wilma attended Republic County School. She was united in marriage to Carl Owen on February 13, 1937. To this union one daughter Mary Louise was born.

Together with her husband they farmed. Wilma moved to the Superior Good Samaritan Society on January 29, 2014 where she resided until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl on February 3, 1997; daughter Mary on December 26, 1999.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Rosemound Cemetery in Hardy, Nebraska with Missie Wilt officiating.

Visitation was held on July 20, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Interment was in the Rosemound Cemetery at Hardy, Nebraska.
